WORKING JOURNALISTS OF INDIA (WJI) is a journalist’s union registered under Trade Union Act on all-India basis with reach up to district and rural levels. It is the first journalist’s union affiliated with the Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh which is the second biggest worker’s union in the entire world. The Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh Will always stand with us shoulder-to-shoulder in all our struggles for the rights of journalists everywhere in India. The WJI along with the Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh will always besides journalists’ interests, work for national interests.
We are all aware of the present plight of the Media – Digital, Print and Electronic — in our country which has belittled our image in the estimate of the average man. We are to refurbish this image and regain the confidence of the masses by transforming ourselves. The call of the time is that we, the Media, should X-ray and prepare ourselves as potential nation-builders.
We invoke your participation in this noble cause and request you to stand with us shoulder-to-shoulder – join us in WJI
We need to act now, not tomorrow, for the Media and the country.
